Hello Wind,
I am writing to you now as I gaze at the beach. You make the waves dance more ferociously today, as they rise in their turquoise blues. The salty spray kisses that you carried for me. It reaches my cheek and wets my lips. And I smile and smile I am relieved to see you. How long did it take you to travel here? And why are you in such a rage today? I’ve seen the trees you upturned and the houses you carried. Why not me next? Bring me to my friends across the sea. Bring them my hellos and goodbyes. Tell them I miss them desperately.
Yours always,
Ana.
